DERIVED FROM THE ARABIC WORD “SHARAB,” WHICH MEANS “TO DRINK,” A SHRUB IS A FERMENTED NON-ALCOHOLIC SYRUP MADE BY COMBINING FRUIT, RAW APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, SUGAR, AND OFTEN HERBS. 

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! WITH JUST 0.5-1 OZ PER SERVING, SHRUBS CAN TRANSFORM YOUR DRINK OR DISH INTO SOMETHING YOUR BODY AND TASTEBUDS WILL THANK YOU FOR.

OUR SHRUBS ARE INCLUSIVE-JUST LIKE US AND CAN BE ENJOYED BY DRINKERS AND NON-DRINKERS ALIKE!  WITH ITS BLEND OF SWEET SAVORY AND TART NOTES, SHRUBS CAN BE USED IN A LARGE VARIETY OF WAYS! USE IN LIEU OF ANY ACID IN A FOOD DISH, DRIZZLE OVER YOUR FAVORITE DESSERT, TRANSFORM A COCKTAIL OR MOCKTAIL, OR IN OUR FAVORITE WAY- SIMPLY MIXED WITH SPARKLING WATER THAT WE CALL OUR “SODA!”

OH YEAH, AND ONE LAST THING-WE ONLY USE RAW APPLE CIDER VINEGAR WITH THE MOTHER (THAT’S THE GOOD STUFF THAT MAKES YOUR BODY FEELS ITS BEST)!

1 oz LFK Blueberry Ginger Shrub
1.5 oz brandy
8 oz lime sparkling water
Pour over ice, mix, and enjoy!

Strawberry Rhubarb Mocktail Spritzer-Submitted by Connie in Kenosha, WI

1.5 oz Rhubarb Hibiscus Shrub
Juice of one full lemon
1/4 cup strawberries sliced
Over ice add all ingredients and top with sparkling water
*I love this one with a little ginger juice if you have it (1/2 tsp)

1 oz Living Full Kombucha Blueberry Ginger Shrub
2 oz Botanical Gin
1/2 part simple syrup of choice
Garnish with Basil Leaves

In Blender add:
1 oz Strawberry Black Pepper Shrub
2 cups milk of choice
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tsp honey or sweetener
1 tbs chia seeds
